Hello! Movement has been a part of my life from a young age. I was a competitive dancer in high school, received a Minor in Dance from The Ohio State University, and decided to take it a step further cheering for professional sports teams.
Being a cheerleader allowed me to dig into my creative side, while also learning about body image through exercise and food. There are 2 ways, the heathy way and unhealthy way, and I have done both.
When I retired, I transitioned into fitness. Since 2013, I have received certifications to teach Barre, Barre Bootcamp (BIIT), Balletone, Zumba and Tabata Bootcamp.
In 2019, I had my baby and found the body doesn't always bounce back. Instead of listening and learning, I fought, going back to old eating habits. It became a battle for 2 years and I wasn't winning. In 2023, I stopped pushing away and once I listened, that's when I found the balance. My ah-ha moment came when I read Body Love by Kelly LeVeque. She introduced me to Clean Eating. I started writing down daily habits with water, exercise, supplements, food and more. I found trends and started making changes.
Soon the pounds came off, confidence started building, and I learned to Love Myself and my body again.
